Owned and operated by Rick and Rhonda King, Bluff Mountain Inn is an all inclusive wedding and reception facility. Rhonda is a Certified Wedding Planner, having completed courses with American Academy of Wedding Professionals and the University of Tennessee. Rick King is a professional photographer who’s work can also be seen at www.rikphotography.com and is a member of the Professional Photographers of America.

We plan and conduct weddings and receptions here at the Inn. Services include wedding planning, professional photography, flowers, wedding cakes, on site catering, table and facility decoration. There are several locations on our secluded five acre estate for your wedding ceremony and reception. Outdoor weddings are our specialty at our Garden Chapel Pergola or on the beautiful lawn of the inn. Receptions are held either in our Garden Reception Room or in our Grand Pavilion where up to 200 guests can be accommodated. Receptions can consist of seated dinners, heavy Hors D’oeuvres, buffet dinners, dining and dancing to either a live band or a DJ. There is also a wedding chapel on

If you’re planning to hold a wedding at our facility or anywhere in the Smoky Mountains you will need to have a valid Tennessee Marriage License which can be applied for online at the Sevier County Courthouse site.

Located at the base of Bluff Mountain, the first mountain in the Chilhowee Bluff Mountain Range which stretches from Pigeon Forge or Sevierville Tennessee east into North Carolina, we are surrounded by the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. Other area attractions include Dollywood, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies and hundreds of other amusements, shows, restaurants and points of interest. This are has been recognized as a Wedding Destination for years due to the beauty of the area and the magnificent views and vistas.

Our staff and management pride themselves on personal service and attention to detail. We are not a wedding chapel with a revolving door, but a haven, away from the traffic and the tourists, where you can take your time and relax prior to one of the most important events in your lifetime. Our Bridal Suites are spacious and inviting. Having once been a bed and breakfast, the Chilhowee Bluff Inn, the amenities here are luxurious. Gorgeous king size four-poster beds, beautiful dark hard wood furniture… each suite has a jacuzzi, a full bath, a fireplace, television, reclining chairs, writing desk and closet space. Outdoor wedding photography is a specialty.

Rick King is also a musician who has toured the world as a pianist, arranger and conductor for various artists. He has made numerous television appearances including the Tonight Show, In Concert, Midnight Special, the Nashville Network (TNN) and various others, has conducted orchestras including a recorded concert with Olivia Newton-John with the Sydney Symphony at the Sydney Opera House. This concert is available on DVD from Amazon.com. After 30 years in the music business, Rick decided to get back to his photographic roots (his Dad was an award winning photographer in Nashville TN) and dedicates most of his time now to studying the photographic arts and photographing weddings and portraits at the Bluff Mountain Inn and various locations in the Southeast United States. He has completed various master classes in photography including a recent workshop with Australian Master Photographer Rob Heyman who has been a great influance and an inspiration. Thanks Rob!!
